So i helped a friend install a fuel pump (it was not kicking on, and car just died out and would not start). Scanned car before we swapped it, and it only threw a SAI code. Did the pump, wouldnt start, then we got it to start but it would shut right off after a second. We also installed a new battery because his was dead from trying to crank it so much.

We scanned car, and boom, ECM disabled code. I read another guy online had the same exact issue after installing a pump.

Anyone else have any input?

what's a SAI code? did you install the same model? did the fuse blow?
