Help!! Indenting two steel lines abound rigt cv axle mount into trans
What are the two steel lines above the cv axle mount. Cv axle is sitting on top of the two lines keeping me from dropping it down and bolting it up.looks like there’s a Upside down v bracket holding both lines with a bolt in the middle .Can I remove the bolt in the middle to move the two steel lines out the way for I can drop and bolt down the cv axle ??
in the videos I have seen before I never seen these two steel lines. The install was very easy in the videos. Get the axle in top right , get the 17mm hex side in and bolt in in . Move the axle down and bolt into the trans. Please help what are the two steel lines?
Is my only option removing upper control arm joints and ball joint to get more space ??
I don’t know why my pictures are not uploading-.-
heres a link to another forums with with the pictures

If I am not mistaken, those are your transmission cooler lines. The transmission fluid flows through them and through your radiator and back to keep the transmission fluid cool.
As the B6 has a completely sealed transmission fluid system, it is not meant for you to add/replace the trans fluid.
There is a drain plug, which is where the trans fluid is replaced to as well, but, if you don't know what you are doing, don't try it..... the car must be level and it has to be pumped back in to proper levels...
I do not know why your CV Axle is sitting on TOP of those lines...
That should never have been possible, unless you somehow cranked on it to drive it up.... or you went to replace them and put the axle into the wheel hub first and then tried to put in the trans side.
If that is what you did, reverse it... put the trans side in FIRST and THEN put on the wheel hub.
