Default wet weather = engine light

so a month back i'm driving home in some wet slushy conditions and my check engine light comes on. no limp mode or anything just the light. so the next morning i start it, still on. I turn it off disconnect the bettery and voila lights gone, end of story...

so today im driving to class, in the rain, and the traction control light comes on along with the "EPC" oe "ESP" or whatever and doesn't turn off and now im in limp mode...the car that is.

so i get the parking lot turn it off and turn it back on and then the check engine light shows back up...F!

so i'm assuming rain is getting somewhere, i've replaced a couple coil packs this winter, the coolant sensor last year and the crankshaft position sensor as well. I also just put a new bettery in however this was in between problems.

Any idea where the water could be getting to?

as always thanks for your comments.
