Just got word from the dealer that a fix is available. I have to schedule the update.

Do you know if this a proper fix or just the workaround? I had the workaround done to my car about a month ago which was just to disable the HD portion of the AM/FM radio to prevent the radio reset. It is not a proper fix that resolves the problem without removing functionality.

Do you know if this is a new development that actually fixes the problem without disabling features that we paid for?

 

Just got off the phone with the service manager. The fix is a software update from Audi. I have an appointment to have the fix applied on Tuesday.

Will post an update to this forum after my appointment.

The fix was applied on Tuesday, I've had no issues since.

The update only addresses the HD Radio popping issue, no additional changes that I can see. I'd been hoping for an update that would enable streaming audio via Bluetooth, oh well...
