Lost compression in #1 cylinder of 4.2 with 160k. Decided to do an engine swap for a used engine. Completed swap using my wiring harness, sensors etc. Replaced valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, timing belt, water pump and all pulleys using crankshaft lock and camshaft alignment tool. Decided to check compression before I put in plugs. Re-connected negative battery cable, but fuel pump does not cycle as it did before when key was turned on. Also no starter noise or action when tried to turn over. Battery is new and charged.
Anyone aware of resets or something I need to do to fix this? So close, but no go!
