Default subwoofer mounting

So whats everyone on here do to hold down their subs so they don't come unplugged and hit the back of the trunk? I use the cargo net right now but it still slides around a bit. I used to have the box drilled into the trunk but I drilled the gas tank and had that plugged back up. I do not want to drill if I dont have to. I have a single 10''

Hate to say it... but just drill 2 - L brackets onto your box, and just drill carefully when screwing it in.

I did it on both of my car's, without problems of drilling the tank. Just use care and check where your drilling before you do it.

ya use l brackets but do it on the sides of the box that way you increase your chances of NOT hitting the gas tank

I have an Infinite Baffle setup. In my opinion, this setup sounds the best. the only con i can think of is that it lowers the power handling of the subwoofer, but the frequency response is very smooth

I have used some non-slip fabric on my 2 12" sub box and it works very well. It may be slightly different for a single 10" or 12", but it allows it not to slip or tip. You can purchase the non slip fabric anywhere, I got mine at Wal-Mart.

well a few things you could do is:
1. velcro under the box (may need to staple it on to stick under the box and use like 4 pieces of the heavy duty stuff
2. i have heard people of screming screws from inside the box down through the bottom so to leave a little part of the screw protruding from the bottom.. multiple of those i would say if u went that route..

i would say just use the velcro it would be easiest

i would use it on mine but my box takes my whole trunk up with about a foot of room so yeah.. but have had many other systems and do all my friends and know the velcro thing works.. had to use it on a 5.6cu box in my old SUV
