so i just got a few things done on my car, and now it's doing this weird thing where i'm getting into boost maybe 5-10 psi, then it hauls *** for a couple seconds and then it's back to driving in "normal" boost. i can't tell when it's going to come on for those couple of seconds. i've never felt my car do this before. it's almost a reverse effect of a bad/loose coil pack. any ideas? CEL is now on, but it comes on and goes off randomly. it may be because i don't have the stock air box on it anymore. i have a k&n air filter. also, i have an apr stage 3 turbo kit.

things i just got done/replaced :
timing belt
water pump
thermostat
fuel filter
flushed the coolant, and replaced with pink oem
all driving belts
mass air flow sensor

i looked into the 3 codes it was reading. some of them are old i think. i never got them cleared after i did all the work. i ordered a scantool, and it hasn't arrived yet. anyone have any luck with the scantool? i ordered this one (OBD-II (OBD2) Scan Tool Software and Hardware - ProScan ProScan Universal OBD-II Scan Tool w/USB Interface)
