i just baught a 97 audi a4 2.8 quattro
but i cant find a turbo kit for it
is it possible to get one or do i have to go with the supercharger
i would really love to have the turbo better
please help me

 

I would suggest posting this in the A4 Forum many knoledgable people there to help you.

 

no, the 2.8 is a V6... in basic fundamentals of performance V6's when using turbo's are twin turbos...

and basically... the 2.8 in itself is just not a good platform for a performance build... thats why audi uses its brother the 2.7 bi turbo.

thats probably why you won't find any kits for either

 

Yep, way too much engineering to make development cost-effective. Seeing as how PES gets 5 large for the SC kit, I'd imagine a twin turbo system would be even more expensive, and more intrusive to install. At least the SC can be installed in a day or so and without tremendous disassembly. A twin turbo system would likely involve (or at least benefit from) pulling the engine, and many people won't want to deal with doing that themselves, nor pay the cost of labor in having it done.

Search for "remote turbo" on here if you are hooked on the turbo, or else investigate the SC kit.
