Installing a Cone Filter

Installing a Cone Filter
I have a 1997 A4 1.8T I have a simple question on installing a cone filter without an aftermarket intake. What do I do with the sensors that are on the top of the air box once I have installed the cone filter? I plan to install the cone filter in place of the complete air box. Any suggestions and help is appreciated. Thanks.

I just installed the filter today. It was simple, I just didnt quite know how the sensors were supposed to be setup. Thanks to your example it made it simple. I love the new sound I get from the turbo :

I understand what you are saying. I have an intake from a 99 civic I plan to modify and use to make a cold air intake. After removing the air box there is an opening going to the front bumper. It is perfect for a cold air intake and it will be away from all the hot exaust. I will do this mod in the near future, Ill try to take some pictures so everyone can see what I am talking about.
