Default New Here and buying an A4! Please help

Hello, I am from Rhode Island and have been browsing these forums for a couple weeks.

I have found a 2001 Audi A4 1.8TQM from a small dealer. The dealer is asking for 6,995. It has just over 101k miles, and he just replaced the timing belt and water pump.

It has the power package, premium sound and some other things.
Dealer says it has never been in an accident.

Is $6,995 a fair price for this car, or should I try to make a better offer? Also, what things should I check for before buying this car?

Thanks!

You should go for a test drive fist ... and listen for any noise ... specially coming from the wheels ... wheels bearing and rear caliper are some of the part you should double check on those car ... and the couple hundred bucks for a clean inspection are worth it ...

And as for the price, I think you could fine the same car with already some mods on it for the same price.

Godd luck
