Default eibach coilover problems

ive got an 04 tt225Q. i just installed a set of eibach coilovers. the problem is, there arent any places to mount the sway bar on the front shock body or frame. im thinking about making a bracket that will allow me to bolt the sway bar on. i might have to do a little gentle spot welding on the shock. i know its not recommended, but i dont have any other options. any suggestions would help.

I wouldn't do it to the strut body - sways mount to the hub/spindle so that the side loads that they see are transferred adequately. Mild spot-welding is probably going to break and doing so to the strut's tube may blow the tube out. I'd find a way to mount them to the spindle, even if that means drilling through it and bolting the sways to it.

I had a bracket made out of an exhaust hanger. My boy welded up some nice hardware. We then just bolted it to the top of the strut housing. Works awesome! Check outthe thread in the TT section.
