The air is passing through the pipe too fast for it to really heat up from the pipe, or at least that's what I've been told....

Quick quiestion on all these intakes, are ANY of them C.A.R.B. legal!? Sorry if someone already answered this, I read over the thread fast.

If your having issues with intake temperatures invest in a Audizine custom heatshield..

I currently have one and I can drive around redlining my car for 20 minuets, come home, turn her off... and my intake is touchable

Now the heatshield... not so touchable.. it asorbs everything leaving your intake for the cold air, it really works wonders. Its a great investment if you don't have the cash for a FMIC and want to lower intake temps... Even if you have a FMIC i'd still suggest using it. Especially if you live somewhere like Texas or Arizona or even Cali/Florida where the sun beats down and it gets hot out
