hi

it was about 2 years ago though, i just got my new A4 B6 2.0 and after about 2 monts i went on a holiday trip, after some high speed runs through the traffic and constant gear changes since it was a lot of traffic had to cut through and get going, any way i was at teh stop after about 4 hours of driving when i got s rubber smell off the A/C whcih gradually became worse and my whole under carrage was smoking!, i checked everything up engine temp was ok....... and all....so i sent it to the garadge, they said my clutch had partially burnt and got very very hot. anyway they said i could use the car, since i did'nt want to mess with the gearbox and stuff since the car was new... so i just left it. although i feel that the clutch does not get the power through to the wheles' as it did before but it is allright up to today, just want to know if anyone else experienced this before?
