He called this device a looker, and thought it would be useful in war. Galileo got hold of one, improved it a little, and then used it himself to challenge prevailing ideas about the solar system. I actually kinda like the blue; it's different and def. not "Outback-ish" as I thought of your first effort. I laud you for your tenacity and DIY spirit!

 

Thanks...although at some point, tenacity just turns into stupid stubbornness. I hope I haven't crossed that threshold. I managed to sand off all of the paint on the rear valance, but I lacked the fortitude to continue on to the left side so there it sits...one end black, the front and right sides a dull, lightly sanded silver and the left, robin's egg blue. It's unholy and it will stay in the garage until the weather clears and I can finish. Life.

 

thats a major bummer. you should move to my town.. all the civics have black paint and some other color lower, because, you know, its cool...

sorry for kind of jacking your thread, BUT..

the duplicolor silver is different, and it DOESNT match the early 1999's audis???? only 99+?

I was just going to paint my lowers too.

 

That's what I've been told - I think it matches the 2000 model and newer, but the 99.5 and older are slightly different. Check out sineo's first thread about painting her lowers - there are pics of her car with the duplicolor paint, and you can see the difference.
