Good idea. I'm going to take a good look under the car today because my cat's heat shield is rattling too, and I might as well check it out. The problem happens now in any gear. Installing my snub mount didn't do anything for it, except shifts feel a little more firm.

No news yet. I'm planning on removing the cat's heat shield tomorrow because its making a rattle, thus the knock is harder to detect.
