93 A6 quattro auto revs

When traveling on the open road at 100 kph my revs are sitting at over 2500 revs, is this correct?. My car is not tiptronic, I would have thought that it should sit at around 1800 revs

Your cruising RPMs are determined by the gearing of the trans/diffs and your trans options could be different than those available here in the US...so it's difficult for me to say.
