60 is a little early, every 80k is good practice. Audi calls for 105k but i think they changed it because they kept on buying cylinder heads for people from snapped timing belts.

 

so how do you test CMP? I have a multi meter what Do i do

 

is lucas oil additives good? i put it in my audi a couples months back and after that i have i ticking in my engine?

I use slick 50 not sure if it is available over there as for Lucas they have a very good name and dont see any problem with it ( always read the instructions ),

call me crazy I cant find it? I removed the cover but nothing ..do you have pic of the engine not the gif

 

You can see them if you remove the timing covers, they are directly over each cam sprocket.

 

Is this attached image right? I have opened the black plastic cover and I can see the Injectors wires etc. the timing cover is at the front but the image says the sensor is at the wall?

 

Thats a 12V 2.8L engine, is that what you have? That's where it sould be on the 12V, on the 30V 2.8L they are on the front.

Nah, i mean there are two different 2.8L engines. One has 2 valves per cylinder and the other has 5v. The one in the picture has 2 valves per cylinder, is that what your motor looks like? The 30V 2.8L engine looks a lot different....... If you can't tell the difference go ahead and post a pic of your engine.
