If the stock turbo takes time to spool then your car has a problem. That tiny K03 is very low-inertia and quick-responding. What you're probably seeing is that a stock 1.8T is not a powerful car. Go to the B5 A4 subforum and read the new owner and FAQ sticky posts at the top. They'll fill you in on the ABCs.

Easiest way is to host the pics on Imageshack or Picasa and then link them here (in the vehicle sale subforum).

Questions to answer:

Do you like your new audi?

How long have you owned it?

Why did you decide to buy one?

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
Love it just picked it up this summer its so damn beautiful

5 months

Honestly I'm 18 years old so I was looking for a get up and go car like an old Firebird Trans Am (still my reasonable dream car) but I fell in love with the look and interior of my 2000 a4 1.8t! it is such a smooth ride and I can't wait to start working on it!

1. Yes, I like it a lot.
2. Owned it for a week.
3. Wanted an AWD wagon. Like the looks of the Avant (looks better than the sedan, IMO), love the way Audis drive and feel.
4. Subaru Legacy wagon or Outback.

Default New guy from the Cincinnati area

whats up guys. My name is Abe and i recently purchased from a sister in law an Audi A4 1997. i got the car for cheapo but has some stuff that needs to be fixed.. for instance the famous central lock vacuum module, a window that doesnt want to go up, timing belt replacement and the multifunction switch for the transmission. this is so far what i need to fix to the car but im more than happy to do so. apparently its been in the family since new back in the days and now its my turn to put it back in shape since the sister in law didnt do much to it.
