Default Looking at buying b5 s4

Hey guys i'm looking at buying this car. I know the miles are pretty high, but it know for a fact that it has been very well maintained. I was thinking on offering him like $6500 or so. What do you all think? Thanks for the help

any records of engine maintenance? car looks great. find out when the last timing belt was done. Mileage shouldnt be that big of a factor if regular maintenance was done. is the car on original turbos?

Yes it does have all the records. I've been talking to him, he works at audi. So all the parts have been authentic audi parts. And as far as the turbos, he's not sure about those.

these are some of the things that should be looked at:

control arms
valve cover gaskets
Timing Belt
Idler Roller
Tensioner Roller
Hydraulic Tensioner
Relay Lever for Hydraulic Tensioner
Water Pump
Cam Seal - (2)
Crankshaft Seal
Thermostat
Thermostat O-Ring
Accessory Drive Belt

check the skid plate under the car to see if there is any excess oil build up on it. this is a sign of turbos going bad.

As long as the turbos, clutch and tranny are still good that price is pretty good.
