i never tried to remove the old race out of the old rotor, i just got new races, bearings, and seal. auto zone tool Thats the same tool i rented.

lol sorry if can explain things well. Pretty much i took off the old rotor which had the old races and bearings in and threw it in the trash. I took my new rotors and i purchased new races and bearings for the inner and outter and pressed the new races in to the new rotor.

Man they told you the ghetto way there with the socket over the race, if you rent the tool you get your money back if you return it. Now thinking about it you are going to need a huge socket, probablly in the 30mm range to do it that way for the inner. Good luck the most anoying part of this job is all the damn grease, it sucks.

Oh yeah, he said he used a 36 mm socket i think... Which i dont have.. So, back to autozone in the morning!

You have FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. I believe the rear bearings are not pressed.

Yes both inner and outter races have to be pressed, goto napa or another parts store and see if they have the tool it will be alot easier.
