Default timing belt marks off 2 teeth forward

I have a question. Just did the timing belt and when I put it back on, the bottom sprocket mark i made was off 2 teeth forward. Am I able to unhook the bolt and turn the bottom sprocket clockwise until the lower mark i made lines back up? 2004 audi a4 1.8t.

Thank you

Yes, make sure everything lines up before and after the belt goes on. crank it over a few times by hand before trying to start it to make damn sure the timing is dead on.

That bolt is the oil pump bolt, a one-use bolt. Detension the belt and reset it properly.
